How often do we make the same mistake?

It is possible with His help

That’s not how forgiveness works

My job is to have love

Learn from past mistakes and put them behind
Finally, be strengthened by the Lord and by his vast strength. (Ephesians 6:10 CSB)
Forgiveness does not have to do with the circumstances
Forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” (Colossians 3:13 NIV)
Those who put matters in God’s hands and trust Him

It’s not a matter of understanding, it’s a matter of forgiving

I immediately grant My forgiveness
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace. (Ephesians 1:7 ESV)
For the healing of the wounds
You planned something bad for me, but God produced something good from it. (Genesis 50:20)
The mercy of Jesus

While not easy, is simple
Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. (Ephesians 4:32 NKJV)
We are cleansed
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9)
Your ability to forgive
Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will bless you for it. (1 Peter 3:9 NLT)
Forget the past
But I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead. (Philippians 3:13 NLT)
In spite of our sins
For the LORD is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation. (Psalms 100:5 NLT)
That principle is
Commit your work to the LORD, and your plans will be established. The LORD has made everything for its purpose. (Proverbs 16:3-4 ESV)
Through God’s grace

A loving Father
